IRISH was selected for production in the West Side YMCA’s Little Theatre new plays’ series in 2003. A full-length, play for 4 actors and 3 actresses,
in which a modern man calls forth, examines and exonerates the drinking and delusion of his ancestors. IRISH embraces both narrative and naturalism, focusing on three generations of a rollicking, rambunctious, desperately ambitious Irish-American family in New York City from the 1920’s to the present day.
